Areas of focus
Sometimes life gets to be a lot.
Between work, school, relationships, family expectations and everything else you’re trying to manage, it can feel like you’re constantly trying to keep up. Maybe your anxiety has gotten louder, you’re struggling in your relationships, or something in your life has changed and you’re having a hard time finding your footing again.
Or maybe you can’t quite put your finger on what’s wrong. You just know you haven’t been feeling like yourself lately.
You don’t have to have it all figured out before coming to therapy.
My approach is warm, down-to-earth and collaborative. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself when we meet, whether you’re talking about something you’ve been carrying for years or trying to make sense of what’s happening in your life right now. We can laugh, have honest conversations and talk about the things that might be difficult to share with anyone else.
Before joining Be Seen, I worked at Atlantic Health System’s Outpatient Pediatric NeuroScience Center, where I gained extensive experience in medical and neurological health. That experience helped shape how I understand the connection between our physical health, emotions and relationships. Because when something is happening in one part of our lives, it often affects everything else, too.
In our work together, we’ll look at what’s happening beneath the surface, make sense of patterns that might be keeping you stuck and find practical ways to help you handle the things life throws your way. Sometimes that means learning new tools to manage anxiety or difficult emotions. Other times, it means slowing down enough to understand what you’re feeling and what you actually need.
My hope is that therapy helps you spend less time feeling overwhelmed by everything going on in your head and more time feeling like yourself again.
I work with adults, teens (14+) and couples navigating anxiety, depression, chronic illness adjustment, relationship challenges, perinatal mental health and major life transitions.
Want to see if we’d be a good fit? I offer a free 20-minute consultation so we can talk about what’s going on, what you’re looking for and whether working together feels right.
