About Be Seen Therapy

Robyn Krugman, LCSW - Therapist specializing in anxiety and sleep struggles at Be Seen Therapy NJ

Robyn Krugman, MSW, LCSW

Owner, Clinical Supervisor

"When you feel truly seen, healing can begin."

For so many, life feels like a constant grind—a mind that races, a body that never feels at ease, and a sense that you’re carrying invisible burdens alone. You try to keep it together for family, work, and everyone else, until the exhaustion, tension, or sadness simply can’t stay hidden anymore.

I am Robyn Krugman, LCSW, and for the last 20 years, I have made it my life’s work to create a warm space where nobody feels invisible. My own journey started as the friend everyone confided in, then as a therapist who understands that true relief does not happen until you are seen for your whole, complex self, body, mind, and heart.

At Be Seen Therapy, we do more than listen. We help you notice what your emotions and your body are trying to tell you, so together we can help you move from feeling stuck to living and feeling fully. We are actively engaged, using trauma-informed, somatic, and experiential therapies that help you move from chaos to calm, reconnect with your story, and become the expert in your own healing.

If you are looking for a bold, authentic therapist who is ready to go beneath the surface with you, you’re in the right place.

How Our Therapy Works

Be Seen Therapy | Scotch Plains, NJ

How To Get Started

Most people who book the free consult spent three weeks talking themselves out of it first,  because the brain is wired to protect you from uncertainty. The call itself? Fifteen minutes and way less scary than the spiral that preceded it.

1. Book Your Free 20-Minute Consult
Choose a time that works for you.

2. We Match You With the Right Therapist
We think about who you are, what you need, and honestly, who you’ll actually click with.

3. Start Showing Up For Yourself
Begin weekly sessions in-person in Scotch Plains or virtually anywhere in New Jersey.

Here’s what the free consult actually is: 20 minutes on the phone with a real person. You don’t need to have it figured out or know what to say. You just show up and we take it from there. No paperwork, no commitment, no pressure. And at the end of the call, you’ll know whether this feels right. Trust that.

Reach out because you’ve already done the hard part. You know something needs to change. This is just the next step.

Book Online
You can schedule your appointment directly through our secure online booking platform. Book a free consultation or your first session at a time that works for you.
